Thursday 3/28 -  Cliff Brucker & Mia Scirocco

Cliff &Mia, a versatile and dynamic musical duo providing exceptionally high quality live music.

 

Pianist Cliff Brucker a well known and respected pianist/drummer has performed with such well know artists as The Empire Jazz Orchestra, The Capital Region Wind Ensemble, 

The Albany Symphony Orchestra and many jazz and pop stars such as Leo Russo, Aretha Franklin and Bob Mintzer. Cliff's 2nd CD, "Full Circle Featuring Leo Russo" will be released in late Feb.

 

Mia Scirocco is a well-established and well-known singer in the Capital District area.

She is admired for her ability to sing all styles of music from jazz to soul to pop. 

 

A much sought after vocalist in the tri-city area, Mia has recorded several jingles and

demos and has performed live for important high profile events, such as Melodies of

Christmas, the Special Olympics, OTB Tennis Tournaments, NBA professional basketball games (76ers vs. Celtics), and Albany's Alive at 5, Tulip Fest, and Gay Pride Fest. 

 

Mia has had the pleasure of opening for and/or performing with many talented musicians, 

including the Pointer Sisters, Collin Raye, Melissa Etheridge, Porter Carroll, 

Joel Rosenblatt, Andy Abel, Bill Harris, Dave Livolsi, Gary Deinstadt, Ken Gioffre, Brian

Pareschi, Matthew McDonald, and Joey Berkley and the Empire Jazz  Orchestra.

 

Cliff & Mia perform a wide range of great standards from artists such as Frank Sinatra and Diana Krall to Anita Baker, Carole King, Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder.

Friday 3/29 - Theresa Broadwell

Teresa Broadwell, Jazz vocalist and violinist, holds a Bachelor of Music from Crane School of Music (SUNY Postdam,) and a MA in Jazz Studies from the College of St. Rose, where she directs the Vocal Jazz Ensemble and teaches jazz voice and violin.  Her horn-like style of scatting and impeccable jazz phrasing has earned her the notoriety and respect she has enjoyed from New York audiences as well as the greater Northeast and Midwest.  Broadwell has performed in varied contexts including recordings both as leader and side-man, television, radio programs such as "A Prairie Home Companion," hosted my Garrison Keillor,  and "Dancing on the Air," hosted by Jay Unger and Molly Mason, as well as  numerous night club, concert and educational settings.  Accompanying Broadwell will be guitarist Michael Novakowski, soloist and rhythm section leader, and bassist Pete Toigo, versatile and masterful at "slyly creating motion and anchoring [the band] at the same time." Metroland, 1998.

Saxophonist Jeff Nania and Pianist Dave Gleason's chemistry is on display as they play everything from Vintage swing tunes, Latin Jazz, Bolero, Hard Bop and even some surprises!

Friday 4/5 - Kevin Green & Douglas Chilton

Vocalist Kevin Green has been performing in the area for over 15 years.  His versatile voice naturallyinterprets a wide range of styles from rock to jazz standards, folk, blues, and sacred.   Pianist Douglas J. Chilton is a graduate of the Crane School of Music in Potsdam , NY and has a Master's Degree from the College of St. Rose in Albany.  He has been teaching music in public and private schools since 1978 and currently at the Northeast Parent and Child Society. He has performed with a variety of ensembles, been music director for stage productions, and has composed, performed and recorded original music. Douglas is also the musician and Choir Director at Messiah Lutheran Church.

Friday 4/12 - Demantra Constantine

Demantra is a vocalist in the Capital Region who is still relatively new to the scene. She started off cantering at her church and singing the National Anthem at various events and has recently broken out performing a solo act. Singing music from an array of artists such as Linda Rondstat, Patsy Cline, P!NK, Lady Gaga, Adele and much more, she is ecstatic to be returning to The Stockade Inn to perform again. Don't miss out on some live music in a wonderful environment surrounded by family and friends!

Thursday 4/18 - Colleen Pratt

The product of a musical family, Colleen is the daughter of musicians Helen and Norman Pratt and the niece of well-known jazz man Bobby Pratt. Colleen performs with several area bands along with her own group, Colleen Pratt and Friends. The band lays down some swinging grooves and serves up some beautiful ballads on her first two CDs, Ain't Misbehavin' and Live at

 

Friday 4/19 - Bronte Roman

Music lovers will enjoy this wonderful trio featuring lead vocalist Bronte Roman under the musical direction of the outstanding saxophonist, Eric Walentowicz. Bronte Roman, a Brooklyn native has been performing at Private Events and Hotels/Restaurants in NYC, Berkshires and the Capital Region. She approaches her songs with a blend of natural elegence and distinctive style then captivates her audience with her immense vocal talent. Bronte's sultry sound of Latin Rhythms and her swinging approach to American Standards is where she truly shines. www.bronteroman.com.  Eric WalentowiczMusical Director & Saxophonist is a native from Michigan with thirty five years of performing experience.  This remarkable technician and very in-demand saxophone soloist performs in the Northeast and Capital Region. His Jazz mastery and impeccable precision was cultivated upon receiving his Jazz scholarship at the University of Miami and University of North Texas. He has recorded and performed on twelve CD's. www.ericwalentowicz.comRob Linquist, an Albany native is a Jazz and Classically trained pianist.  He attended SCCC and SUNY Postsdam for Music Education/Performance.  He has obtained a Masters Degree in Jazz Studies from the College of St. Rose. Thursday 4/25 - Eileen Mack & Steve Viglucci

Vocalist Eileen Egan Mack is happy to be returning to the Stockade Inn. She will be performing a variety of standards from the world of jazz and pop. Of the upcoming performance, Eileen says, "The Inn seems to draw a very special audience that not only comes out for fine food and service, but also to be a part of the music scene. It is very rewarding as a performer to be able to share music in this kind of venue with that kind of audience." Since returning to live in the area, Eileen has performed in the Capital District with Peg Delaney, Bill Delaney, Steve Zucchini, Wayne Hawkins, Chuck D'Aloia, Johnny VanStone, Dan Wanczyk, Neil Brown and the Georgie Wonders Orchestra. 

Friday 4/26-  Sonny & Perley

The exciting duo of Sonny Daye and Perley Rousseau achieves a rare musical symbiosis. The husband and wife team have spent the last several years developing and perfecting their unique blend of Jazz, Brazilian and International Cabaret which has become their musical signature. They engagingly perform the timeless standards of the Great American Songbook su! ch as Gershwin, Berlin and Porter as well as the irresistible Brazilian melodies of Antonio Carlos Jobim.  They keep a busy schedule touring with their trio, quartet or quintet performing for concerts, festivals and cabaret shows. Their three CD releases "Love Dance" 1996, "East of the Sun" 1999, and "Let It Happen" 2004 have generated international air play and received critical acclaim. It is in live performance, however, where Sonny and Perley truly shine.
